It's horrible. It's sickening. Why would they do that?!
I don't know about other places in the US but Ohio has specific license plates for bad things on records. Yellow License plate means you've gotten the max number of DUIs or something like that and were put in jail. They're passing a law for hott pink license plates to be for sexual predators.
The bad thing is, all names on the people's insurance or something have these license plates. So if an 18 year old gets put in jail and has to have a yellow license plate because of DUIs, his parents get yellow ones too.

well the plate thing is sad because then people will look down on you after looking at your license plate; society is cruel enough as it is, theyre adding this to make things even worse.

The plate thing could deter people in the future.
I live down the road from a peodophile reform house, where they live for up to a year after they're released. Other criminals live in the complex too. I don't like it being there, I get followed home frequently by some of them who soon end up back in jail.

Child molesters have admitted that there is no cure for them, and they'll always have the urge to molest again.

As for the license plate thing, people in society don't really look down on them. They just call them 'party plates'. It's a way for people to know what kind of person they are. It's more embarassing if you have the license plate because your son has one, you know? There's also rules for people with the 'party plates'.. So then it's easier for police officers to do whatever they need to do. I dunno. There's some whole thing behind it.

They used to send letters home from the school district to let the community know if one was moving into the area, but you had to show your id and go to the administration bldg to see who they are and where they were moving. They stopped that, cause they considered it violating their rights.
Has anyone had any strange questionable person come up to them, as a child or recently?

When I go down town there are odd, questionable guys.. When Taylor and I were walking like 3 blocks down to the House of Blues for the OneRepublic concert some creeper was following us. We were so scared, we were holding hands sooo tight. Taylor was wearing a tank top and the guy offered her his coat.

That's real creepy. Last year when i was walking to school, a guy in a van pulled alongside me but took off when other cars came. Later we found out that he had been trying to get guys and girls in his van.
