It's absolutely terrifying. And it disgusts me when millions of pounds of taxpayer's money is spent on giving them a new identity (plastic surgery, new passports etc etc), so they are not victims of hate crime because of what they did.

Has anyone had any strange questionable person come up to them, as a child or recently? Yeah, I've had people like that as far as I can remember. Now I just get curb-crawled or followed places but I'm so use dto it now that the group of guys that do it know that they won't get a response or a reaction anymore. WHen I was younger there was a guy who tried to get me to follow him to the toilets when I was out with my parents. i was 6 or 7 at the time and he tried to bribe me with ice cream. Except I did't likethe brand of ice cream he was offering so I refused. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if I'd said yes

I don't like the idea of them coming back into a normal life. There was this place a couple hours away that was housing sexual predators, but they decided to build a day care, so they had to move, but I think since the day care knew they were there, they should have built it somewhere else.

Tonight it was weird. I went to my sister's dance rehearsal. It's for ages 3 to adult. Because there were so many there, they change in the auditorium. The males respect that and wait outside. It's mainly little kids in elementary school who change in the open. This old 50ish grubby looking guy came in and took a seat in the back of the auditorium. He had a beer in one hand and a coffee in the other. He sat there watching the little girls in their underwear. It was creepy.

Thank goodness he didn't stay the whole time. My dad's in the citizen police program, so he was keeping an eye on him.

I agree. The ones they interview always say that they have the urge and always will. Yet they release them into the communities, and we're not supposed to be upset.

Going to revive this subject because there have been a lot of teen girls turning up missing lately and a portion have been because of sexual offenders..
Registered sex offenders are multiplying in the neighborhoods. You can't rehabilitate a sexual predator, so why put them back into the community?
We have one two houses down, one across the street and 2 a mile away, all are within a mile of an elementary school. Why tempt someone who has already been convicted of sexually abusing a child???

because the government are stupid! they only sentence the peodophiles for a few years now, and give them a NEW identity when they come out to start a 'new' life... load of bollocks! I am convinced theres a peodo somewhere in the government siding with these filthy creatures!
