hi y'all!
i caught some MTV earlier 2day, they were featuring Eraserheads' songs remade by other artists. which got me to thinking: IMHO, the original versions are usually way better than the remakes but, of course, there are always exceptions. so... if y'all could broaden my horizons and share your views on which remakes actually improved on their originals, okay? much obliged... :-)
let me start things off with Sir Ivans "live for today": his 90's slower version, to me, was better than the original, faster, "rock" version also by Eric Clapton with his band, Derek and the Dominoes (i think...) ;-)
