If you have a falling out with one of your friends and you're in a relationship, do you expect your bf/gf to also stop talking to the person?

of course! if i can't stand a skank i'd be super duper mad if my bf texted/called her and was pals with the cow. If my bf was mad at someone and i could see he had a valid reason then i wouldn't be friends either and if he didnt have a valid reason then i'd just be cordial not over the top friendly to the person out of respect for my bf.

No, just because I've fallen out with them it doesn't mean my bf should lose a friend. If he didn't want to talk to them because of me falling out that's up to him, but I wouldn't make him.

Well, what i really was asking is if it is/was "your" friend, not his, how would you feel if he continued to talk to the person.
I agree the other way around he shouldn't stop talking to a friend unless that friend disrespected you.

Even if it was my friend originally I still couldn't stop him talking to them. I'd be a bit annoyed but I'd have to live with it.
