Of course. I would be in the relationship with the guy not his family. It would be nice if we all got along but if we didn't, it wouldn't stop me from being with the guy. Hopefully the guy would defend me to them and ignore their attitude toward me. If he didn't, then i'd have to end the relationship.

My boyfriend's dad is one of the nastiest people I've ever met, he dislikes me too apparently, but that hasn't stopped us being together. I don't have to see his dad if I don't want to and the rest of his family is lovely. It depends on the individual though, some people would be put off a relationship if the family wasn't accepting.
