Ever used any? Which brands, and did they work?

im a hair stylist and dry shampoo is an old product that isnt used much here. it mainly was used for people who had colds and didnt want wet hair or the elderly or those who couldnt easily get a proper hair washing. it in no way cleans the hair like shampoo does nor does it do anything for the scalp. it temporarily relieves greasy build up and is ok for a quick fix. i do understand that an updated version is becoming popular but once again not a replacement for a good washing and conditioning.

I had to buy some for the festival I just went to because the showers were too grim, but it really didn't do what it said it would! It said it's reduce the shine to make the grease look less noticeable but it just made my hair a funny smell and colour

My great-aunt was looking for some dry shampoo cause she has a problem standing too long and can't sit in regular chairs but we couldn't find any. I don't think it's popularity has reached here.

It's only popular here in festival season, no need for it the rest of the year
