Are you happy with the current voting age where you live?

No! I want to vote in this election so bad! Partially for the fact that I could say I voted, but I want to be heard in a sense, and put my opinion out there in an official way.

I think it should be 16, you don't mature very much between 16 and 18 in terms of knowing what youw ant. Although you aren't so politically educated. I really want to vote in the mayoral electoons in May! But I can't vote til next year for the general elections

I think it should be 16 just because I want to vote in this election.

Although I would like to vote in this election, I don't think it should be set at 16, because at that age not a lot of people seem to follow politics, and we could end up having an inept leader, because a bunch of 16 year olds like one aspect of a person's campaign.

A lot of people don't follow politics at any age, but they take advantage of their right to vote. My brother will be 20, and voting for the first time, and he's siding with Obama, cause he looks cool. He has no idea what the issues are being discussed and what each opinion is on that.

Yeah, a large majority of the electorate aren't educated on the issues they're voting for. No one reads the manifestos because they're so long and papers often trivialise the issues

No offense to your brother or anything, but that's why we shouldn't lower the voting age, because there would be people voting for candidates for reasons like that.

If my brother was 40, he'd probably still do the same thing.

I'm not saying lower the voting age because I agree, at that age, it's hard to follow with all the sides and views and such. But I really want to vote in this election...
