There are so many celebrities and i'm sure common folk, who have had bad surgery done, and look worse than before their surgery. What are your views on plastic surgery? Talk about any type.

I dont see why people would want it done, so i am against it, because as you say, it can make you worse off than you were before.

If something happend where something bad happend where it's basically like they need it, then okay. That's fine.
Other wise, it's just silly and a waste of money. It's not worth it.

These people don't know that they'll end up looking like that. The plastic surgeons should know when to stop and what not to do. There's barely anything left of Michael Jackson's nose, someone should have turned him away.

well they wouldn't turn him away because in the end of the day he's offering them money, and people now a days would do anything for a good amount of money!

I'd never have it for cosmetic purposes, only like a skin graft or something to save my life. So many people get so messed up with it and it can go horribly wrong too. Althogh, saying that I may need to have the back of my ear reconstructed in the future, but t hat's not out of choice, that's to save my hearing

That type of plastic surgery does help a lot of people, but just to do it because you don't like your physical features, or you think you're looking too old, is not worth the risk of a botched surgery. They have guys getting surgery to make their body look more muscular. They have calf implants to help your legs look better. Butt lifts, whatever you want they do if you can afford it.

Ew, like when people think they look old and get plastic surgery. They always end up just looking even older!

Their face looks odd. The skin is pulled back so much that their eyes look weird.

I am against plastic surgery. Why should people feel so bad about themselves that they must go under the knife simply to change their appearance? It's so vain!
Now reconstructive surgery, that's different. Of course I'm not against that. I'm even quite interested in it as a profession, when I qualify as a Doctor. People's lives, for example burn victims or people with serious hemangioma, can be dramatically changed for the better, both medically and personally by the use of reconstructive surgery.

i'm against it. i believe that one should love their bodies/faces just as they are no matter what anyone else thinks..if people could just love themselves as they are then they could learn to love others as they are instead of judging them for how big or small, how many wrinkles, their facial structure..

Agreed. =] Minus the whole profession part though. Haha.
