What are your views on alcohol and drinking?

I think it is fine in a social setting as long as you don't get carried away. And don't use it as a way to get rid of your problems. It just creates new ones.

I agree with you on that one. I think social drinking is fine, but so much where it's unbarebale and you don't remember what happend is bad. My mom and her 8 brothers and sisters grew up with an alcoholic father. He abused them and her mother, my grandma.

I'm no fine one to talk about drinking - and I think we all know I have no reservations about drinking in excess! I don't drink as often as I used to, however I do drink more when I drink. I suffer the consequences, and my parents are cool - they don't care what I do as long as I stay safe! I don't think I have the right to preach about underage drinking/excessive drinking either

If I overly drank to the point where I came home and you could tell I was drinking, I would so be dead. My mom especially has made it clear. She's really particular when it comes to drinking because of her past.

In my group, drinking wasn't cool, so I never got into it. I've seen some people do some crazy things when they were drunk. I don't think chancing getting sick and having hangovers is worth it.

I'd never drink so much that I needed to throw up, but quite a lot of my friends do that pretty much every weekend. Hangovers are the worst though, but I feel worse today when I've got a cold than when I have a hangover

I've never had either and I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I may drink socially in the future.

Haha, goo you sound like you're from the church and trying to convert him. But that's good. Drinking in moderation if you can do it, is the way to go.
