Nothing is a big deal here. There's no school or community spirit.

We've got school spirit, but that's it.

They're trying to bring people together by having events at the old farm down the road from us. Some of the schools and organizations have functions there.

Yea, football is huge here. And Homecoming week, especially Red-vs-Blue Powderpuff, is HUGE.

It's definitly one of the biggest deals at my school all school year. Does anyone else have like each day of the week is a different theme?

We do. Sports day, clash day, character day, class colour day, and then there's a day where you have to dress up according to your classes theme.

We have the themes a pep rally, parade, a football game, and it's over.

At night we have a ROAR, the football game, Powderpuff/Tug-o-war, and a couple of other things.

There are no night events ever at school. There used to be dances but they stopped them. The school's only open for sports at night.

This year we have Friday off, so Today was Pajama day, tomorrow is Red-Blue day for Powderpuff, Wednesday is Superhero Day and Thursday is Dress-up Day. We have the Red-Blue pep rally whatever day is Powderpuff. There's games, contests, Tug-o-War and fun stuff at the Pep Rally.

That must suck having a four day homecoming. Ours was a month early compared to last year. It was Halloween week last year and character day was on Halloween, so it was pretty amazing.

We're not allowed to celebrate Halloween in the schools anymore.

Wow. Only the elementary schools do here and sometimes middle school teachers have them, but undercover. Just no costumes for the middle school kids.

They changed Halloween to Character day and the kids had to dress like a book character. Last year they stopped it completely but our cosmetology class will be giving out candy after school along with some other HS organizations. It's called "Treat Street", and the kids can go from classroom to classroom to get candy.
