What are some positive and negative about art galleries?

Negatives - poncy posh people, not appreciating some pieces, it being so silent Positives - the art itself

There are some really good ones in NYC. Pos.The guide makes it interesting. Neg.There are usually some obnoxious people.

I've nevr had a guided tour of them, mainly coz you don't get guided tours at the ones in London! Another positive is that tha Tate Modern always has fun exhibitions!

I've only went with the school, and it was always a guided tour.

My schools have never taken us to galleries, I never did Art at exam level so never needed to. Would've been a better trip than the Science Museum though!

This was years ago. They don't take trips like that anymore. Going to the United Nations used to be a scheduled trip, but no more,

All the educational trips were cut. Now they go to the zoo and amusement parks.

Yea, we used to go with school. But I went with my oldest sister like a year ago. Her kids were driving her crazy, so she wanted to go somewhere quiet.

I like ones that show how they did things in the olden times, and clothes they wore, etc.

Yea, and I like things where you have to look at it to figure out what the artist is trying to get at.
