Three years ago, and it was okay. It was for my dad's family and i had never met most of the people there. We went to Myrtle Beach, SC for it. A 14 hour drive for us.

We have one every year, but the last time I went was...2 summers ago I think. My mum's family are pretty much all dead so we don't see the few that are left much, it's a long drive to Durham

I couldn't take it if it was every year. The funny thing is that most of my dad's family is in the same area, but him and his 2 brothers have to travel the farthest to get to the reunions. It's never anywhere that is a decent distance from us. When we get there, we'll all tired from traveling, but they're all rested and have events planned. We really don't want to be bothered then. haha

No one my age either. My cousins are 12 and 4. My brother has fun cause he hangs with the older guys, and my uncles are fun.

My cousins never have to go, they either live outside of England or are too young. I get stuck with my brother

At least you have someone to hang with. My brother goes off with the guys, my sister plays with the 4 and 12 yr olds and i sit around listening to a bunch of old ladies talk. My mom gets tired of them fast, so her and i usually sneak off somewhere and do things.

I can't even hold a convo with my brother, let alone spend the day with him! My mum loves the reunions, it's her chance to show off that I've styled her hair for her

My mom loves reunions because it's her chance to show off how much her kids have grown, and her grandkids.

My mom hates them because it's always my dad's family and they've barely spoken to her in the 27 yrs she's known them. Most don't even talk to my dad, haha

The reunions are always with my mom's side. So my dad hides in the corner talking with my uncles. haha He doesn't mind them. Most of them.

Guys can adapt easier. The females are kinda snobby and get in cliques.
