I dont know why people commit suicide, they dont really get anything out of it, i can understand it in some cases though, such as if they were going to get killed or tortured, they would prefer their own way of dieing, but apart from that i dont see a reason to commit suicide.

in islam suicide is totally forbidden, its a major sin. i know people get depressed and whatever. but committing suicide is just stupid, giving up aint a solution... i should know...
well i still think its wrong whatever your reason maybe.

I don't understand why anyone would want to commit suicide, there are better ways to deal with the issues taht are less selfish.
When my best friend commited suicide no one had any idea why. She took the last resort as the first resort, which just isn't right

I think it's just selfish. Yes it may relieve some pain you have, but it's not worth it for the amount of pain you'd be putting on other people.

I am too terrified of dying to commit suicide!
I do understand why some people take that option - often they are living in horrid circumstances, like they've lost everything and everyone they love in their life, or they are being horrifically bullied, so they don't see the point in life anymore.
I do see the whole, carry on with it and things can only get better argument, but for some people, I think they are happier in peace and in a better place than this world.
Having said all that, please understand that I'm not pro-suicide or anything! Yes it is awful and often hurts many people, but sometimes people are in so much pain and have no-one to turn to.

i have had family and friends commit suicide so i guess you can say i'm pretty much aginst it it is wrong and ungodly and they think every one will be better of and they are wrong it hurts us more
